Why it matters

A signature is worth what you can prove on the day someone disputes it.

Disputes over electronic signatures rarely argue about technology. They argue about facts: who signed, when, and whether anything changed afterwards. Each objection has an answer stored in the evidence record.

Electronic signatures carry the same legal effect as handwritten ones (ESIGN Act, 15 U.S.C. §7001; UETA in 49 states). There are no signature tiers: what matters is attribution and record integrity.

Electronic signatures admissible as evidence in every member state (eIDAS, art. 25.1), with a full audit trail and immutable evidence.

RFC 3161 timestamps

Issued by external authorities at each key step of the event chain.

SHA-256 event chain

Each event includes the previous hash. The database rejects changes and deletions.

OpenTimestamps

A daily anchor of all chains, published on the Bitcoin blockchain.

WORM custody

Copies in S3 storage with Object Lock in compliance mode for 10 years.

What we don’t do.

  • We do not guarantee the outcome of a lawsuit. We guarantee complete, intact evidence that third parties can verify.
  • Your face is only compared with the photo on your own ID. We never search for it among other people, build profiles or train models with it.
  • We do not let an AI agent sign on behalf of a person.
FAQ
Is a Verdana eSign signature legally valid?

Yes, as an electronic signature in every country we cover. Its evidentiary weight and what must be proven in a dispute vary by country; each country page explains it with the applicable law.

What if someone says they didn’t sign?

The sender exports the evidence package: verified identity, liveness video, IP, session, timestamps and anchors. An expert verifies it on their own machine without relying on us.

Can I sign promissory notes?

It depends on the country. Some have their own registry and custody rules for electronic notes. Each country page says so.

Do I have to share my face or ID?

No. Biometric data is optional and authorized separately. If you don’t share it, you can ask for alternative verification.

Can AI agents use the service?

Yes, on the sender’s side: create requests, track them, download and verify evidence. Never sign on behalf of a person.

What is the difference between an electronic signature and a digital signature?
